Description Inside Card:
The potting shed used by the gardeners on the William K. Vanderbilt estate “Idle Hour” stands at the corner of Connetquot Drive and Central Boulevard in Oakdale. The building was constructed about the turn of the century. It was completely renovated in 1946 by Mr. & Mrs. William Trautwein. It is presently the home of Mr. & Mrs. James McManus. The windows on the west side were added during the renovation.
