La Familia’s Salsa con Salsa: a smashing success

On Thursday, September 17, La Familia had their annual Salsa con Salsa event, inviting the Dowling community to Fortunoff Hall’s Ballroom for dance lessons and free food.

2008–2009 Season Overview

The Golden Lions had one of their most successful seasons in recent memory during the 2008–2009 campaign, with six teams advancing to NCAA Tournament play. The Dowling Baseball team clinched the East Regional Championship, sending them to the College World Series for the first time in program history. Additionally, the Men’s Soccer team reached the Championship Final for the second time in three years after having won it all in 2006.
