Government Documents
Since 1965, Dowling College Library has been a member of the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). As such, our library selectively receives about 17% of materials published by the federal government. Selections include a core collection of basic government documents complimented with a concentration of subject-specific materials from the Departments of Commerce, Education, and Transportation. These materials are interfiled in the Library collection and can be accessed in a variety of ways.
As much of the Government information today is available and updated online, Dowling College Library is in the process of adding electronic links in the catalog to offer convenient access to its patrons.
