• work on take-home exams without your instructor's written permission.
• ask your professor to explain elements of the assignment. (That's your job!)
• evaluate or disagree with professors' grades or comments. It is our job to improve your understanding of a subject, not guarantee a perfect grade in the class.
• complete assignments for you.

• bring a written copy of the assignment, relevant class notes, books, and research materials if you need help with a paper or homework.
• come prepared to discuss the areas in which you would like assistance.
• arrive a few minutes early!
