The Center coordinates a support network of outside agencies and College offices that ensure students with disabilities receive optimum educational opportunity.

The Hausman Center is readily accessible to students with physical disabilities, as are all of Dowling's main buildings. Handicapped accessible apartments are available at the Dowling College Residence Hall on the Rudolph Campus in Oakdale and the Residential Village at the Brookhaven Center.

Information concerning accommodations, activities and facilities that are accessible may be obtained from, Ellie Alster, The Coordinator of Services for Students with Disabilities at The Peter Hausman Center, 631-244-3144.
