We have centralized information regarding our student insurance programs. You will find below links to important sites or PDF’s that will provide you with more detailed information regarding the programs available to Dowling College students. Special Risk Consultants, Inc.(SRC) manages Dowling’s student insurance program. Questions about the insurance, enrollment, how the plan works, ID cards, other insurance programs (dental, vision, personal property, etc.) can be directed to SRC at 1-800-322-9901. Administrative Concepts, Inc. (ACI) is the claims administrator for all insurance issues. Students can access their own claims through a link on the Claim Administrator’s web site called Claim Status. After you set up a secure password on ACI’s Claim Status portal, you will be able to access your own account and able to view any claim processed. For questions about claims it is best to go to the web site (click on the link below), or contact Administrative Concepts, Inc. (ACI) at 1-888-293-9229. They are available M-F from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. On Call International provides access to a multilingual staff through their 24 hour Nurse line and Travel Assistance. They also utilize translator services, if necessary. They can answer questions you may have about medical situations, provide educational information on medical illnesses, or help you determine if you should immediately see a doctor, based upon your present medical symptoms. On Call International also coordinates all emergency medical evacuations and assists you should you lose your passport or luggage or if you need legal help. Their phone number is 1-800-850-4556 or 1-603-898-9159—push 1 to be connected to a representative. Dowling College has all students covered under a Basic Accident Plan of $2,000. This covers our students in the case of an accidental injury. Please note that this plan only pays after all private insurance has paid and is exhausted. Special Reminder for International Students: All international students are automatically enrolled in the school sponsored international student insurance plan, as a part of your enrollment at Dowling College. There is no opportunity to waive this coverage. The premium for the policy is added to your tuition bill. This plan meets all federal and state requirements.
