Peer into the depths of active volcanoes; explore glaciers, geysers, and spectacular waterfalls; visit a power plant and more this summer with the Dowling College Department of Earth and Marine Sciences.

The nine-day trip, led by Department Chairman Dr. John T. Tanacredi, is packed with a host of the most fascinating geologic sites in Iceland and Italy.
Four credit-bearing courses are being offered:
Fisheries of the Mediterranean;
Volcanoes and Glaciers;
Conservation Ecology;
Special Topics Online Course - "Art and Science: A Cultural Connection."

A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required and MUST be submitted no later than March 15, 2012.
