Riverrun,

Dowling's art & literary magazine, is now accepting your creative submissions for inclusion in our Fall 2012 publication.

The deadline is May 1st, 2012.

The following condition applies to all submissions: you MUST attach a completed entry form to each separate piece prior to remittance via e-mail, department, or intranet. PLEASE NOTE: incomplete/illegible forms delay editorial schedules and will be refused. Multiple submissions are encouraged!

Literary Submissions

Send poetry, fiction including short stories, drama, creative non-fiction, screenplays for theater and film and other apt works to Jim Vacey, Editor-in-Chief at jav8@dowling.edu or drop hardcopies/disks in Prof. Karp's mailbox, 310 Fortunoff Hall.

Art Submissions

Present work from varied media such as paintings, pencil and charcoal sketches, sculpture and ceramics, photographs, computer graphics, 2- and 3-D designs, and mixed media. While Riverrun is offered in vertical format, both vertical and horizontal compositions will be considered and Visual Arts will photograph those chosen for publication. Please e-mail Prof. Lamia at Lamias@dowling.edu (Subject: Riverrun inquiry) and make an appointment to drop off your work.

Final decisions will be made by May 15th; while we wish to include everyone’s submissions there is only enough room for the best applicants. Fear not! All submissions will be posted on the Riverrun Facebook page for your viewing pleasure!* If you wish to have anonymity for your submission, please include your name and pen name that you wish to use and your identity will be kept safe! We thank you for sharing your voice and vision and make sure to like us on Facebook!
