Open Community Forum – School of Arts and Sciences

On April 11th the School of Arts and Sciences hosted its second open community forum of the semester.  The topic was the 2016 presidential primary. Moderated by Dean Brian Stipelman, a mix of thirty faculty, staff, students, and community members debated the relative merits of the different candidates, put this year’s contests into historical context, drew comparisons to other electoral systems throughout the country, and explored some of the less democratic elements of the entire process.
