Dowling Named Workforce Builder Award Finalist

Dowling College has been named a finalist in the Long Island Works Coalition's 2004 Workforce Builders Awards. Dowling was selected from more than 300 members of the Workforce Builders Honor Roll for its contributions to school-to-work initiatives. The Workforce Builders Honor Roll recognizes local organizations taking action to ensure Long Island continues to have a skilled workforce to depend on by focusing on: workforce readiness, business etiquette and ethics, broadening skills for today\'s economy, funding established programs and school-to-work activities. The winners will be announced on November 15.
