Dowling College's School of Aviation Welcomes First Original Graduates Back to Campus

First Reunion in Forty Years

BROOKHAVEN, NY – For the first time in forty years, Dowling College's original six graduates of the School of Aviation will come together to visit the Brookhaven Campus and speak with current students. This event will take place at the Brookhaven Campus in room B123 tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Artie Panzer, 1970 alumnus and current medical doctor. Dr. Panzer will address current Dowling aviation students and provide them with updated information about FAA Medical Examinations.

  • Joe Donofrio, retired Lt. Colonel Air Force Pilot, FAA Air Traffic Control Manager, Current School of Aviation Full Time Faculty


  • Tom Daly, Retired Nassau County Police Department Aviation Supervisor, Pilot Geico Sky writers, Current school of aviation faculty, vintage aircraft collector


  • Jim Record, Retired Northwest Airlines Captain


  • Joe Rossini, Retired Airline Captain
