Drew Weidhorn, a resident of Woodbury and CEO/Chairman of Package All Corporation, has been appointed as Chairman of the Dowling College Board of Trustees.

As President and CEO of Package All Corporation, Mr. Weidhorn accommodates the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industry globally. Mr. Weidhorn brings hands-on experience to the role, drawing on many years of experience as a salesman for APL Plastics, manufacturer of plastic and related items, and helping start the East Coast affiliate of Setco Inc., now part of a 2 billion dollar packaging group. Mr. Weidhorn is also Chief Financial Advisor for Star Marketing.

An entrepreneur, Drew Weidhorn started Package All in 1984 from the back of a rented truck. Starting with renting a 5,000 square foot facility in Ronkonkoma, Mr. Weidhorn built a 50,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility and recently expanding to 110,000 square feet in Suffolk County, as well as a new facility to be opening shortly in California. Since 1984, Package All has dedicated itself to becoming the industry's "go-to" resource for everything in the pharmaceutical industry.

Drew Weidhorn provides overall service to the community by giving back to charitable organizations. He is involved with Tikva, which provides vital services to the Jewish children and the entire Jewish community of Odessa, Ukraine. Tikva relies on the support of generous and caring individuals.

"Dowling College especially appreciates Mr. Weidhorn for the dedication he has consistently displayed as a Board Member for ten years. With Mr. Weidhorn as the new Chairman, Dowling College will be able to fulfill its primary focus of supporting all students in their quest to learn," said Dowling College President Robert J. Gaffney.
