It Won't Cost You a Dime to Learn How to Manage a Successful Small Business

The Dowling Institute in collaboration with The Town of Brookhaven Small Business Advisory Council presents Managing a Successful Small Business. This is a three-session series of workshops focusing on key business start-up topics. Beginning in March, each session will be held from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month at Dowling's Brookhaven Campus in Shirley. Participants can attend one, two, or all three workshops, FREE OF CHARGE!

The workshops are as follows:

Workshop I: Starting a Business
Thursday, March 8 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Workshop II: Managing the Finances
Thursday, April 12 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Workshop III: Recruitment and Hiring
Thursday, May 10 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

These workshops will focus on areas such as writing a business plan, identifying goals and objectives, brainstorming and networking. They will also discuss accounting and legal considerations.
