Top Area Crew Teams to Compete In Dowling College Regatta

Crew teams from across the New York-metropolitan area will compete in the seventeenth annual Dowling Alumni Cup Regatta on Saturday, November 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place on a section of the Connetquot River that flows past the College's Rudolph Campus in Oakdale.

Among the colleges scheduled to compete are: Manhattan, Fordham, and Fairfield. Races will include four- and eight-member men's and women's teams in both the Varsity and Novice categories. The team with the most overall points will win the Dowling Alumni Cup. In lieu of an admission charge, Dowling's crew teams ask that spectators bring non-perishable food items for the College's annual food drive benefitting local families in need.
