Dowling College Hosts Screening Of Acclaimed Film "Imagining Robert"
Discussion With Book's Author Will Follow

New York Times Notable Book "Imagining Robert" comes to life on the screen as Dowling College presents "Imagining Robert: My Brother, Madness and Survival", on February 9 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the Fortunoff Hall Ballroom on Dowling's Rudolph Campus in Oakdale. This one-hour film by the award-winning filmmaking team of Lawrence Hott and Diane Garey, will be followed by a discussion with Jay Neugeboren, author of the book, "Imagining Robert". The event is free and open to the public.

"Imagining Robert" is a compelling tale of two brothers, one who has suffered the horrors and sadness of mental illness for thirty-eight years, the other, a prize-winning novelist who has been his brother's primary caretaker through those years.
