Dowling Institute Offers '9 Steps to a Healthy Retirement' Seminar

Those interested in preparing now for a secure financial future should plan to attend "9 Steps to a Healthy Retirement," being offered by the Dowling Institute. Led by financial advisor Evan Levine, the seminar costs $20 and will take place on Wednesday, March 22 from 7-9 p.m. at Center Moriches High School, located at 511 Main Street in Center Moriches.

At the end of the seminar, attendees will understand how longer lifespans require individuals to prepare for retirement much differently than their parents had to; know which of the four separate categories-the "Four New Faces of Retirement"-they fall into and what that means for their retirement planning; have full confidence about how to achieve their financial- and retirement-income goals; be able to construct a comprehensive financial plan tailored to their unique situations; and, have the strategies that will enable them to avoid unnecessary investment risk.
