Dowling College Announces Free Financial Aid Application Workshops

Dowling College invites parents, students and anyone interested in attending an institution of higher education to receive step-by-step guidance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Financial Aid Application Information Sessions are scheduled for Saturday, January 28 and Saturday, February 11 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the school's Oakdale and Brookhaven campuses, respectively.

Financial Aid representatives will be available for personal assistance. Attendees are asked to bring copies of their tax returns, wage statement(s) and any other appropriate documents to assist in the completion of the form. While the workshop is free and open to the public, the Dowling College application fee will be waived for attendees who enroll in a course at the workshop.

The workshops are:

Saturday, Jan. 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Taking place in the Hunt Room in Fortunoff Hall, located at the Rudolph Campus, 150 Idle Hour Blvd., Oakdale

Saturday, Feb. 11 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Taking place in the Henry Aviation Complex Atrium at the Brookhaven Campus, 1300 William Floyd Parkway, Shirley
