Dr. Thierfelder to Present at SAJES 25th Annual Conference

Dr. Bill Thierfelder, professor of English Literature at Dowling College, will present an informative workshop at SAJES 25th Annual Conference on Prejudice Education, taking place on Monday, Nov. 14, 2005 at the Huntington Hilton Hotel in Melville, NY.

Dr. Thierfelder will present "Creating Safer Schools & Communities: Working with LIGALY (LI Gay & Lesbian Youth)" during the morning workshop. Harassment, discrimination, and abuse of GLBT youth still exist. Discover how LIGALY can help you keep your kids safer through their programs, places, and through their support for Gay-Straight Alliances in schools across Long Island.
