Dowling College Debuts Weekend Education Classes

Undergraduate and Graduate Courses To Be Offered At Oakdale, Brookhaven

Students wishing to obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education can now begin their pursuit on the weekends through new Saturday and Sunday classes at Dowling College's Rudolph Campus in Oakdale and Brookhaven Campus in Shirley.

"This is a great option for those working full time and anyone with a hectic weekday schedule," said Dr. Clyde Payne, Associate Provost for Dowling College's School of Education. "By offering classes on Saturdays and Sundays, in addition to our extensive slate of weekday and evening classes, prospective students have complete scheduling flexibility."

The new classes will kick off in the Spring 2004 term, which begins on the weekend of February 1. Prospective students can learn more at Dowling's Graduate Studies Open House on January 15 at 6 p.m. at Dowling's Rudolph Campus in Oakdale, by calling 1-800-DOWLING, or visiting www.dowling.edu.
