Expert Will Discuss "Mindfulness In Buddhist Psychology" At Dowling College

Andrew Olendzki, a scholar of early Buddhism and the executive director of the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies, will present a lecture entitled, "Mindfulness in Buddhist Psychology" on November 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the Lion's Den, located on the second floor of the Curtin Student Center on Dowling College's Rudolph Campus in Oakdale. This event is part of Dowling's yearlong celebration of Asian culture and is free and open to the public.

Dr. Olendzki has studied in England, Sri Lanka, and at Harvard University, and has taught at several colleges. He was the executive director of Insight Meditation Society for several years and is the editor of Insight Journal.
