How do I set my network card to use DHCP to get an IP address?

Follow these steps:
- Click the Start button, select Settings, select Network Connections
- Double click Local Area Connection. A Local Area Connection Status box will appear
- Click the Properties tab on the bottom left corner of Local Area Connection Status box
- Local Area Connection Properties box will appear. Scroll through the list and highlight (by clicking once) Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
- Click Properties. Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties box will appear.
- If it's not already selected click Obtain an IP address automatically
- Also make sure Obtain DNS server address automatically is also selected
- Click OK on the Internet Protocol TCP/IP Properties box
- Click OK on the Local Area Connection Properties box
- Click Close on the Local Area Connection Status box
