User I.D. and Passwords
As a Dowling student you have network, email, student records system and Blackboard accounts the day after you register for classes.
For privacy reasons we will only use your Dowling email address.
Network, email and student records accounts are linked; if you change your password on any system, your new password is
effective immediately on both of the others. You must manage your Blackboard password separately, but we suggest you change it to match.

Student E-Mail Correspondence Policy
- Your Dowling college e-mail is the only e-mail address the College and your faculty will use to communicate with you.
- Check your "@dowling.edu" account regularly.
- If you another e-mail address that you prefer, you can have the mail from your "@dowling.edu" account forwarded
to the preferred e-mail address by following the instructions at:
www.dowling.edu/mydowling/tech/gw-forward-offcampus.html.
