Dr. Bill Thierfelder would like to express his sincere gratitude for those who attended his art gallery opening recently in New York City. Thank you to all of the Dowling staff, faculty, students, and friends that supported his recent accomplishments. For those people who couldn't make the opening of Dr. Bill Thierfelder's gallery show on March 15th, Dr. Thierfelder will be at Monkdogz Urban Art on Tuesday, April 3rd from 1 to 5 PM as part of the gallery's "Meet and Greet the Artist" program. Dr. Thierfelder will be there to answer questions about his art and will be working on his latest drawing inspired by the Metropolitan Opera's new production of Richard Strauss's THE EGYPTIAN HELEN. After the work is finished and framed, it will go on display in the Provost's office in late Spring. The gallery is located at 547 West 27th Street on the fifth floor. Pictures of the gallery opening are found at their website: www.monkdogz.com/chelseagallery/show_13.htm.
