On Tuesday, Dec 11th, the Dowling College Chorus and the Wyandanch High School Chorus, conducted by Ronald Armanini, gave a wonderful performance for a full house in the Ballroom. For this entire semester, a dedicated group of 7 Wyandanch High School students rehearsed on a series of Tuesday evenings with our chorus under the direction of Ron Armanini and Mr. Bill Robinson, the Wyandanch HS Chorus Director. Claire O'Rourke from Athletics was the volunteer driver of the students. At this holiday concert, the students were awarded certificates of participation and were cheered on by members of the Dowling community and the Wyandanch community. This successful venture was an outgrowth of the GEAR UP partnership.
