On Sunday, May 20th over a dozen Dowling students, staff, and friends walked in the New York AIDS Walk. The Dowling Team had set an initial goal of raising $2,000. Instead, as of Sunday, the Team raised $3,710, with a few matching gifts yet to be processed. When all is said and done, we will have provided a little over $4,000 to help people living with HIV/AIDS in the New York/Long Island region--over double our original goal!! The monies raised by the Walk are specifically ear-marked for medical care, housing, and meal programs among other forms of necessary outreach. Thanks to all who supported us!
