Recently the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual event, "A Taste of Oakdale", a wonderful evening filled with good food and music. Thank you to Vicki Kuhn for organizing it! Some of the local restaurant participants included McGovern*s, Viva La Vida, Tai Show East, The Bagel Doctor, The Snapper Inn, and the Riverview. The Dowling College Chamber Ensemble provided enjoyable music for the guests. Chamber members include: Kelly Gabriel-Flute, Sharon Boerum-Clarinet, Caryn Weiss-Alto Sax, Damien Pagan-Trumpet, and Paul Piekut-Trumpet/Bass Guitar.
