Dr. Rispoli*s Class Constructs a Model Truncated 120-Cell
A multi-dimensional model of a truncated 120-cell was recently constructed by many participants. This model was constructed under the guidance of Professor George Hart from SUNY Stony Brook by the Dowling Mathematics Club and Professor Rispoli*s Discrete Mathematics class on October 25, 2006. The model required roughly 4 hours to build. This hands-on group construction of a large model was designed to expand students* geometric thinking. This model is on display in the Conservatory and if you look at it from different angles you can try to find the blue tunnels.
