The student parking lot in Oakdale was a bargain hunter's dream at the recent Oakdale Marketplace and Festival. The event featured vendors, yard sale items, food, and musical performances by Dowling drama students. Co-sponsored by the Oakdale Civic Association, the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce and Dowling College, the event raised $800 towards purchase of a clock at the Oakdale train station.
