These photos were taken in Janet's last class of the semester, a course in Non-Verbal Communication on Monday, May 16th. That's icing on Janet's nose in one shot. "The students assured me that this was good luck," Janet writes. "Could they be kidding?" Also featured is a picture of two international students that were in Janet's ESL class when they first arrived in America from Senegal and Serbia. Both graduated last weekend.

Ketty Karmazin's retirement party on May 3rd took place in the Study where she received a lovely pin from her many friends, as well as a Certificate of Appreciation from Dowling.
We wish both of these fine ladies well in their retirement.
