- One of Dowling's Finest Showcases Artistic Flair:
Dowling Security Officer and artist Edward Cascone will have selected paintings exhibited at the Armand Gallery, 97 West Main Street, Bay Shore, beginning on Oct 23 (Grand opening and reception from 1-5pm).

Studying Closes' work was a truly eye opening experience and Close's exercises in drawing the human face taught Ed to look closer at the world as he knew. This attention to detail and an overwhelming desire to create caused Ed to start painting. Throughout his career as a painter, Ed has recognized how important it is to express the excitement, passion and love that he experiences each time he picks up a brush.
