Dowling College undergraduate students Thad Jameson and Yancy Reyes were rewarded for giving the gift of life, each receiving a $500 Gift of Knowledge certificate for donating blood at the Blood Drive, which took place April 12-13, 2005 at both campuses.

Jameson, a sophomore student from Minnesota, and Reyes, a freshman student studying aeronautics from Manhattan, met with Dr. H.E. "Chuck" Broadbent, Vice President of Institutional Advancement, and Suzanne Voss, Director of Health Services, where they were congratulated and presented with the Gift of Knowledge certificates.
