Dear Dowling College Residents,
In an effort to foster a cleaner, healthier environment at Dowling College, effective May 23, 2005, smoking will be prohibited in the Residence Halls at both the Oakdale and Brookhaven campuses.
We will designate a smoking area just outside the buildings that will comply with fire safety code.
It is the responsibility of all members of the College community to observe this smoke-free policy and to remind others of their responsibility. This is a health, courtesy, and fire safety issue.
We appreciate your compliance with this non-smoking policy.
