The Newton Fellowship Program

Math for America is seeking candidates for their Newton Fellowship Program. Recipients will receive a full tuition scholarship to a full-time graduate education program, plus a stipend of $28, 000 living stipend, obtain a position as a high school math teacher in New York City and earn a New York City teacher salary plus an aggregate $62,000 in stipends over your four year tenure.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in teaching, have at least a bachelor's degree with substantial coursework in mathematics, and are willing to commit to a five year program that includes one year of full time graduate student and four years of teaching mathematics in NYC high schools.
