Dear Dowling Family, My family and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful outpouring of support you have once again shown with the Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser. As of today we have collected $1,000.00 in donations. This includes all of the generous gifts that have been dropped into the bottle at the cafeteria, the cans that were placed around campus, as well as the donations that have been sent to my office. With this year being the year that there were so many causes to give, hurricane relief, and the tsunami at the top of the list, I am honored to have been given the support that we have received. We would like to thank Linda and her staff at the Cafeteria for assisting in selling the rose pin-ups, and allowing the pin-ups to be put up on the wall. In addition an extra special thank you for allowing the bottle to be placed by the registers. We would like to thank Bursar for assisting in the sale of the rose pin-ups, and allowing them to be hung in there office. Thank you to all of the department heads who allowed me to place my collection cans in your area - your support means the world to me. Thank you Erika Trano, and the Art Guild for coordinating a bake sale in the RC lobby. By the way Erika's mom makes the best Banana bread muffins - YUM! Thank you to the SGA team for selling pin-ups and collecting money during the blood drive sign up - you guys are awesome!! We would also like to thank Oakdale 7-11 for continually supporting the causes that our Dowling family brings to them. They allowed me to have cans placed at the register. We would especially like to thank those of you who have purchased rose pin-ups, dropped change into the bottle and/or one of the many cans that I had placed around campus & 7-11, and to those of you sent donations to my office, and hunted me down in the hallways. My family and I are overwhelmed with gratitude. We are hopeful that some day soon children like my niece, Danielle, will not have to suffer with this disease.
