We are proud to announce the launching of the Dowling College Emergency Notification
System through RAVE Mobile Safety. This sophisticated system expedites the delivery of
Emergency Notifications to thousands of users simultaneously. The system will be
utilized to announce school closings, weather related issues and most importantly,
serious emergencies occurring on campus and instructions on how to proceed. Please take
the time to register for emergency notifications. From a campus safety perspective, this
is absolutely necessary to ensure the safety and security of our campus community.
Signing up is easy and will only take a couple of minutes. To sign up visit https://www.getrave.com/login/dowling Use your current Dowling User ID and password when logging into the RAVE site. Click on the My Account tab to register your phone. During the registration process, a text will be sent to your phone with a 4 digit code to verify the information provided. It's that simple!! Students may visit http://username.dowling.edu to enable their accounts and more information can be found at http://www.dowling.edu/mydowling/Tech/stu-uname.html Faculty and staff can call the Technology Help Desk at (631) 244-3445 for username and password help. For those who signed up for emergency alerts through the previous system, we have transferred the data from the old system to the new RAVE System, but please visit https://www.getrave.com/login/dowling to verify your contact information and make corrections if necessary. All users will have the ability to test the system when you register.
