Pat Shay (Actor) is thrilled to be back on Dowling's Campus, having celebrated his nuptials in Fortunoff Hall just two years ago. A longtime student of the legendary Del Close, Pat performed and toured for Del's theatre, the ImprovOlympic in Chicago, for ten years. While in Chicago, he also played leads in Taming of the Shrew and Hamlet, and premiered his solo show, Their Own Words, an Evening with Gielgud, Burton, and Olivier. Since moving to New York, he's been a proud member of the Faculty of the Peoples Improv Theater in Manhattan. Recently, he joined the Second City for a four-month tour aboard an NCL ship, and this summer, with his amazing wife, Mary Theresa Archbold, he co-wrote and co-produced the award-winning two person show Jazz Hand: Tales of a One-armed Woman. This is his first appearance with the Loft.
