Monica Hunken (Actor) is happiest in environments of the ridiculous. She performs with the Bicycle Clown Brigade on the streets of Manhattan, and all over the world with Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Gospel Choir: most recently in Austin at the SXSW Festival premiere of their movie What Would Jesus Buy? Monica could be seen in LesFreres Corbusier's production of Hellhouse; as both Marina and Thaisa in Shakespeare Santa Monica's Pericles and in Ecuador as part of the Living Theater's Mysteries and Smaller Pieces. Past favorite roles include Helena (Midsummer Night's Dream), Elmire (Tartuffe) and Photographer (Eiffel Tower Wedding Party). Monica received both her B.A. in Drama (ETW) and her MA in Educational Theatre from New York University. She teaches theater, visual art, and clowning in New York City.
