Getting/Replacing ID Cards and Student Parking Permits
Getting a Card
Dowling College ID Cards are made in room 207A in Oakdale.
Students registering at Dowling for the first time can get their ID cards one week prior to the start of their first semester.
Hours
ID Cards are made during the following hours in Oakdale:
Daytime Hours - Monday through Friday
9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Nighttime Hours - Thursday Only 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
To get an ID Card you will need:
- Administration/Staff
Please present a photo ID and recent Dowling paycheck stub or letter of acceptance from Human Resources when you first come in for your ID. - Alumni
Alumni may check out up to three books from the circulating collection - Dowling Institute
- Faculty/Adjuncts
Please present a photo ID and recent Dowling paycheck stub or letter of acceptance from Human Resources when you first come in for your ID. - Good Neighbors
Members of the Idle Hour Community can obtain a Good Neighbor card that can be used for general borrowing privileges, access to the College's tennis courts, and admission to on-campus events. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Please present proof of address and a photo ID. - Students
Currently enrolled students should bring a copy of their official course schedule and a photo ID when they come in for an ID
Administration, staff, faculty, and students (including those of the Dowling Institute) have full access to Library resources.
Replacing a Card
There is a $15.00 fee to replace an ID Card.
