Online Article Delivery Service Policy

Although our Library is constantly adding to its holdings of online materials, there remains a unique and vital body of literature that is only available at our Oakdale location. Older periodicals exist in both print and microfilm, as do a vast amount of ERIC documents and other government material. As an added service, the Library provides an online document delivery service to make our print and microform holdings more readily available. Any student will be able to request a print or microform document and have it posted on the web for them to access. In order to support this "digital photo-copying," the Library will charge an amount similiar to what it would cost if you were to physically come to the Oakdale Library and photocopy it yourself.

When a requested article or ERIC document is available electronically through one of the Library's databases, we will direct you to the appropriate resource. We will not send a copy of the electronic article to you.

This service provides:

  • Scanned images (PDF) of print/microform articles or ERIC documents.
  • Referral to electronic databases when available.
  • Electronic delivery only - no paper copies.
