Who can use Ask a Librarian?
This service is intended primarily for the use of the Dowling Community.
What is Chat and how does it work?
Chat is a form of "instant messaging" or IM and refers to software like AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), which can be used to have a live conversation.
No IM Software?
If you do not have instant messaging software on the computer you are using, you can use web-based versions of AIM, Yahoo, or meebo.
