How do I use Databases?
Dowling College Library subscribes to a number of different databases, each of which is an organized and searchable collection of . . . stuff. The types of things you can search for include:
- Articles (from newspapers, journals, magazines)
- Biographies (from reference books, obituaries, periodicals)
- Images (from museums, archives, photo agencies)
- Music (from orchestras, operas, film soundtracks)
- Business Information (from annual reports, SEC filings, company financials)
- Statistics (from the Census, government reports, research studies)
