Displays on a Dime: Quick, Collaborative, and Economical Approaches to Library Outreach

The librarians of Dowling College demonstrated how their ideas of displays have evolved, from the use of fixed display cases to rapid response table top presentations to highly portable traveling shows. Techniques for creating and arranging eye-catching displays were discussed, and everyone in attendance had the opportunity to practice creating displays on the spot.
