Health Insurance is very important
because of the high cost of medical care in the United States.
Dowling requires International Students to have insurance arranged
by the college. When you arrive we will send your name to
the insurance company so you will be covered by September 1.
The cost of this insurance will be billed directly to your student
account. We will give you details of this insurance at the
International Students Orientation shortly after classes
begin. Please be sure you come to the orientation to get
this information.
It is suggested that any written correspondence
with USCIS (re-instatement, OPT, etc.) be mailed "Registered
Mail, Return
Receipt" through the U.S. Postal Service to ensure that your mail
will arrive safely and to prove receipt of your
package.
Literature regarding Travel and Re-entry, Changing
