The Honors Program faculty are chosen for their commitment to the ideals of the Honors Program, and they are ready to put extra effort into honors classes. All faculty teaching in the Program have doctoral or other terminal degrees and are active in their fields of academic or artistic specialization.

As always at Dowling, class sizes are small and faculty give individual attention to students. In addition to regular classes, Honors Program students will participate in several day and weekend trips (expenses paid) to New York City or other local areas with faculty to experience the artistic, scientific, and cultural riches within easy reach of Dowling.
