  • Students in the Arts such as Creative Writing, Performing Arts and Visual Arts have immediate access to NYC, perhaps the most vibrant center of artistic activity in North America.
  • Any student can enjoy a unique experience of being an overnight guest at the Vanderbilt-Fabbri Mansion on the Upper East Side of New York City, which houses one of the nation's great private art collections.
  • Students interested in pursuing Law as a career are encouraged to work with faculty in Philosophy or Political Science or other appropriate departments to prepare their career.
  • Science students can work at one of the nation's leading science research facilities, the Brookhaven National Laboratory, Dowling's neighbor and partner in offering excellent research opportunities in the sciences.
  • You can use Dowling's location on Long Island to study diverse ecological environments and the impact of suburban development.
  • During your senior year, you will participate in a specially designed Honors Senior Seminar for which you will carry out a research project.
