Students who enter the college as first-year students and wish to apply for admission to our Honors Program must meet one of the following criteria:

• Have a 3.5 grade-point average or a 96 average (unweighted) at the high school level.
  
  
• Be in the upper five percent of their graduating class.
  
  
• Have a minimum of 1200 on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or an equivalent score on the American College Test (ACT).
  
  
• Demonstrate exceptional promise with appropriate consultation by Honors Program Director Dr. Stephen Lamia.
