The Grants Office supports Dowling College’s efforts to write grant proposals for innovative ideas and secure funding to make them a reality.

As funding becomes scarce and increasingly restrictive, Dowling College must find creative ways to fund innovative programs that help us to achieve our strategic goals to help us accomplish our mission. This office is here to help.  Some of the resources offered are:

1. Technical assistance with project development

2. Researching funding sources

3. Writing, proofreading and/or editing proposal drafts

4. Navigating the proposal through budget, accounting, human resources and other offices as appropriate

5. Facilitating the acquisition of support letters and signatures to ensure institutional endorsement

6. Sharing a mini-collection of grant writing manuals and funding databases
