A competitive funding environment often requires researchers to be creative in their search for support for their projects. A number of sources that identify and manage new funding opportunities are available to aid Dowling College researchers.
Faculty and administrators are also encouraged to visit the Economic Stimulus web site for information on how federal agencies will distribute funding made available by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).

Grants.gov
All discretionary grants offered by the 26 federal grant-making agencies can be found on Grants.gov.
SBIR/STTR
The US Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Technology administers the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program. Eleven federal departments participate in the SBIR program; five departments participate in the STTR program awarding $2 billion to small high-tech businesses.
