Irwin Oder Political Science Award

This annual award, in the amount of $200, will be given to the graduating senior who, having majored in Political Science, has maintained at least a 3.25 grade point average in his or her Political Science courses. The Political Science faculty will recommend a student on the basis of academic achievement, not financial aid. Dr. Oder, the first professor of Political Science at Dowling, was a faculty member from 1961-94. This award is made in his honor.
