Every applicant seeking financial aid must file:

1. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility for Federal and Institutional aid. The form can be filled out at fafsa.ed.gov. Dowling College's school code is #002667. Our priority deadline for receipt of the FAFSA is April 30 for the upcoming academic year, but we will still process a form received after this date.
2. The Express Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) Application to determine eligibility for New York State Grants. Any New York State resident who chooses a New York State college will be offered a link to the application upon completion of the FAFSA. This application can be found at www.hesc.com. Dowling’s school code is 0011 for undergraduate, 5011 for graduate students.
   Residents of other states should inquire about their home state's policies and obtain any necessary forms.
3. Complete all forms and submit all information necessary to Student Financial Services.

All newly admitted students are considered for merit scholarships to the extent that they are eligible. Students interested should complete the admissions process as early as possible, which includes having final, official transcripts of previous coursework sent:
